Iranian and Afghani Women's Group
A social group, mainly for women who are affected by their experience as refugees. The aim is to provide a safe environment in their new community, reduce isolation and the opportunity to explore activities and health needs relevant to the women. Health and welfare discussions, sewing sessions (the group recently purchased their own sewing machine and overlocker), social outings and cultural celebrations are some of the activities on offer.
