Collingwood Living in Harmony Project Facilitators
Training and Employment Opportunities for Collingwood Public Housing Residents
The Collingwood Living in Harmony project aims to build healthy relationships on the Collingwood Public Housing Estate.
Training and employment will be provided to community representatives from the following communities:
Vietnamese
Somalia
Sudanese
Ethiopian
Chinese
Turkish
Eritrean
To be eligible you must:
Have good verbal English skills,
Know people living in Collingwood from your community (see the communities listed above),
Commit to 10 months training between July 2012 and June 2013 with an honorarium payment (up to one day per week)
Preferably live on the Collingwood Estate

Receptionist - Casual
This front of house role delivers a variety of reception and front-end administrative tasks for a busy medical, dental, allied health and counselling services.
The position is casual and is to provide support to our permanent team during periods of leave. Experience with software applications TRAK, Pracsoft and Medical Director will be highly regarded. Previous experience in a medical setting is essential to this role.
If you are flexible, reliable and have the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role and enjoy working with a fast paced team this role may be for you.

We are a community health service located in the inner Melbourne suburbs of Collingwood, Carlton and Fitzroy.
In addition to these three Community Health Centres, we also run Drug Safety Services from 'Innerspace' in Johnston St, Collingwood.
We have strong ties with our local Division of General Practice. The practice has a community focus with a multidisciplinary approach. The organisation has a strong focus on Chronic Disease Management with an EPC nurse to support GP's with Health Assessments etc. The practice offers VMA training places and the opportunity to be involved in Registrar supervision and training.
Our General Practice is located across 3 sites, is Bulk Billing and accredited with GPA. Our experienced medical team is committed to the values of Community Health and is supported by Allied Health, Counselling and a range of co-located services including the HARP programme. The opportunity to work across sites is available.
We would welcome applications from General Practitioners (VR) looking for 4 plus sessions per week in a caring, friendly, team oriented environment.
