Family Services Worker – Children Youth and Families Team
Part Time (21.5 hours – 2 positions available)
NYCH is part of the North East Metropolitan and the Western Child and Family Services Alliances. A part time position is available for a family services worker to work with vulnerable children and their families primarily within the City of Yarra area.

Living In Harmony Project Worker – Collingwood
0.4 EFT for 18 months
We are seeking applications from qualified and experienced persons with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and proven experience in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating complex projects to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team.
The successful applicant will have a qualification in health promotion, social sciences, community development or related discipline and work within the Vic Health Framework for the primary prevention of violence.
Living in Harmony is the first project in Australia to apply a place based community strengthening approach to primary prevention of violence within CALD communities.
Part of this very exciting role will be to support the work of a dedicated team of up to 16 community members to run a series of activities and events with their cultural communities that build healthy, respectful and equal relationships. Activities currently being planned include daddy's and children's reading sessions at the Collingwood Library, women's evening gym classes, women's only car maintenance classes, parents nights and community meetings. The worker will also oversee the remainder of the facilitator's training and development program.
The salary range is according to Community Development Officer Class 3, Year level dependent on experience. Generous and comprehensive salary packaging is available on commencement.

Receptionist – Casual
This front of house role delivers a variety of reception and front–end administrative tasks for a busy medical, dental, allied health and counselling services.
The position is casual and is to provide support to our permanent team during periods of leave. Experience with software applications TRAK, Pracsoft and Medical Director will be highly regarded. Previous experience in a medical setting is essential to this role.
If you are flexible, reliable and have the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role and enjoy working with a fast paced team this role may be for you.
