Joining the Board
We are currently seeking expression of Interest from members of the community to join our experienced and dynamic Board of Governance. Directors are not remunerated although out of pocket expenses can be reimbursed.
Skills and attributes in one or more of the following areas are required:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health sector, especially Primary Health
- Solid financial literacy and experience in financial management
- Public Relations, Marketing and Fundraising in the corporate or not- for- profit sector
- Knowledge of the local community and the health issues that impact upon it
- Commitment to human rights and social justice
- Commitment to meaningful community engagement
- Sound knowledge of public policy preferably relating to health and/or community services
- Previous Board experience
