Dental Service
Since July 2006 our dental clinic is being managed by North Richmond Community Health Centre (NRCHC). This will not change any of the dental services that are provided and all our special dental programs will continue as before. These include clinics for homeless people and people with drug and/or alcohol issues, and the subsidised access for public housing residents in Collingwood and Fitzroy.
All records of previous NYCH dental clients will be transferred to NRCHC and kept in accordance with the Health Records Act 2001. NYCH dental staff will need to obtain client consent to access any other part of the person's health record.
We believe that this change will improve coordination of dental services across the City of Yarra and will lead to decreased waiting times for clients.
