Family And Reproductive Rights Education Program FARREP
FARREP assists families from the Horn of Africa with the many issues one faces when settling into a new country. The program focuses on working with women and children from the Horn of Africa. It assists women to access health and support services through increasing their knowledge about existing early intervention programs and encouraging them to utilise antenatal and maternal child health services. Support with immigration and settlement issues is another aspect of the program.
The program also includes education and information sessions for other health professionals and organisations to make them aware of the culturally specific needs of people from the Horn of Africa.
