Community Liaison
As a community health organisation NYCH encourages people who live in our local area to be involved with us through our Community Liaison Program.
The Community Liaison Committee consists of interested individuals and representatives from many different community groups. The committee discusses issues of concern and needs perceived by the community. This input is very important to us, because it assists us in planning our services and also feeds back to us the value of our services.
Several times during the year we also have public Community Liaison Forums to which everyone is invited. These Forums provide an opportunity for information exchange and lively discussion, give us feed back, and are also an opportunity to meet other people and foster a community spirit.
We are proud of the services we provide but are always looking to improve them. We therefore encourage any suggestions and feedback.
