Aged Care Nursing
Our Aged Care Community Health Nurse provides support and advice for older people and their family and carers in the form of assessments, home based nursing care, referrals and information about aged care services. She also organises and facilitates activities for older people.

Nursing Clinic
These are available at Collingwood and Fitzroy Centre.
The registered nurses provide a wide range of treatments: wound management and dressings; blood pressure and blood sugar level checks; child immunisation and flu injections; Pap Smears and pregnancy tests; and general health advice and education.

Community Midwifery Care
Our midwives provide a wide range of supports for women's health: cervical and breast health including Pap Smear tests and mammogram referrals; family planning and pregnancy testing. They will liaise with other relevant women's health services when necessary.
During pregnancy, child birth and the postnatal phase they 'Share Care' with the maternity hospital of your choice. They will help you organise hospital bookings, antenatal tests when necessary and liaise with services relating to your pregnancy and desired childbirth options. Support after childbirth includes six weeks postnatal check ups, home visits, breast feeding support and liaison with other women and child health services when necessary.
Service fees are low cost, subsidised or negotiable.
