Podiatry

Podiatrists can diagnose and treat many problems and disorders of the foot and lower leg. These include nail and skin disorders, injuries and infections gained through sport or other activities, and children's foot problems. Conditions such as diabetes and arthritis often have associated foot problems that may be assisted by a podiatrist.

We provide podiatry services at our Carlton, Collingwood and Fitzroy Centres. A special outreach service exists for homeless persons in the Collingwood and Fitzroy area.

A couple of times during the year our podiatrists organise 'Shoe Shopping Trips' for small groups of people where they assist you with buying your footwear.

Our podiatrists are also involved in running the successful 'Living With Diabetes' course. This is a 6 week program for people with Diabetes as well as family members and carers to understand and better manage this illness. Courses run several times a year at different locations.
